Named after former British Prime Minister Earl Charles Grey, Earl Grey is the perfect blend of various exquisite Chinese teas. It is believed that the tea was blended with a fragrant fruit known as bergamot that helps to counter-balance the dominance of lime in the local waters. It is basically black tea that is enhanced with oil from the rind of bergamot oranges.

Storage Instructions: Store in a cool dry place, away from humidity

Add filtered or bottled water to a pan
Add 1-heaped teaspoon of tea leaves
Soaking time 3-5 minutes (the time will depend on the strength of the liquor preferred)
Turn off the heat as soon as the steam comes out
Let it rest
Use the strainer to strain it into a cup
